New Server Launched - ITALY

We are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new server in a new country for VPNUK. Our First Italian server based in Milan is now Live and ready for clients to login to.

PayPal Subscription Issue

There have been a few reports of subscriptions being wrongly cancelled by PayPal this week. If this has happened or happens to you please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by the PayPal system, your account will not be closed without us first notifying you.

Our system is programmed to automatically email all clients with one-off payments and cancelled subscriptions 24 hours before their accounts are due for renewal. The automated emails contain account information along with a link and instructions for how to renew the VPNUK account should you wish to do so.

If you ever have any account questions or problems renewing expired accounts please contact our Live Help team, we are available 7 days a week and can assist you with any problems you may be experiencing.

Partner Program launch

It gives us great pleasure to inform our clients that the long awaited VPNUK Partner Program will be made available to all VPNUK clients shortly! The new Client CP will contain information on how to offer our service as a white label reseller or as an affiliate of VPNUK.

You will soon have the chance to provide our high quality VPN service as your own!

Client CP now under developement

The long awaited Client CP is now under developement, once complete, all clients will be able to perform many basic actions, including;
Password changes
Viewing of basic usage stats
Account renewals
Account modifications

Clients will also be able to switch between servers! With a click of a button VPNUK users will be able to switch between different servers and/or countries at any given time!!

OpenVPN pre-configured connection types

We have released a new build of the VPNUK pre-configured OpenVPN GUI. The latest build now offers automatic configuration of a TCP and/or UDP connection type during installation. Clients using an OpenVPN connection type on the VPNUK servers are no longer required to manually edit the config file and login details, everything is configured duing installation.

UK Server Updates

We are currently updating our entire UK network over to a new 1gbps backbone. Every UK based server that currently has a 100mbps connection will soon have 1gbps connection.

We are emailing account holders affected by the changes as the new servers are launched with all the information required.

Pre-configured OpenVPN 2.1.1 ready for download

We have a new pre-configured version of the latest OpenVPN release (2.1.1) ready for download.

Features include;
1. Capabilities to save the login username and password
2. Pre-installed config files that only requires one edit to the destination server
3. Build includes both the x86 and x64 TAP drivers

Dedicated (Static) IP Prices Slashed

As of Wednesday 3rd March all new Dedicated (Static) IP accounts will be charged at just £9.99 for a single user, £16.00 for two users and £21.00 for three users.

Existing clients that already have a Dedicated IP account with us and wish to take advantage of the new pricing should modify their accounts.

Moneybookers payments no longer supported

As of Friday 26th February we are no longer able to offer Moneybookers as a payment option for VPNUK services. We apologise for this cease of payment option.

For those clients that do not wish to use the services of PayPal or Google Checkout we are currently looking into alternative payment methods.

Important changes to OpenVPN config

We have made an important change to our OpenVPN configuration which requires all clients using OpenVPN on our servers to edit the config file.

1. On line 4 change 'proto udp' to' proto tcp'
2. On line 7 change the port number '1194' to '443'

Clients connecting on Linux may also have to set the configuration to 'allow tcp connection' and 'custom port 443'

50+ Servers with over 1500 IP's

With the introduction of Canada and our 2nd US Dedicated ip SERVER VPNUK now have over 50 servers in 8 countries with over 1500 IP's. As more and more people use the services of VPNUK more servers will be added.
