Step 1 — Download WireGuard® for Windows
Download the official WireGuard® client for Windows from wireguard.com.

Log in to the WireGuard® Config Generator or the Members Area to create your .conf config file. The generator will automatically use your dedicated server and generate the correct keys.
Your config file will include:
- Your unique WireGuard® private/public key pair
- Your dedicated server's endpoint and public key
- Your dedicated IP address and DNS settings

Step 3 — Import the config into WireGuard
Open the WireGuard® app and click Import tunnel(s) from file. Browse to your downloaded .conf file and click Open. Your VPNUK tunnel will appear in the list.
Alternatively, you can click Add empty tunnel… and paste the content of your .conf file directly into the editor.
Step 4 — Connect
Select your VPNUK tunnel in the WireGuard® app and click Activate. The status will change to Active and your dedicated IP address will be shown in the interface details.
Connected. You are now connected through your dedicated server. Your internet traffic is encrypted and routed through your dedicated VPNUK IP address.
Troubleshooting
Tunnel shows as Active but no internet access
- Ensure the AllowedIPs in your config is set to
0.0.0.0/0to route all traffic through the VPN. - Check that your Windows Firewall is not blocking the WireGuard® interface.
Handshake never completes
Check that your dedicated server is online in the Server Status. Regenerate your config file if the issue persists — the keys may have changed.
